I can't give you an answer to your question (I'm still a novice at Acronis True Image) but maybe this is something to consider.
I recently went through this exact situation with a client who had an OS drive that was failing and they needed to copy a data drive onto a new SSD.
I created a bare drive with Acronis and exported the drive.
I used a 2nd external drive to create an Acronis bootable
drive with my OS on it
I then used Acronis to copy over all the data from my failing drive to the new drive
It was a lot less work than reinstalling the OS and maybe it is something you could do on your own. It did take a while to set it up properly as I was still figuring out how to do it right.
Ian Cox: Those ghosting projects are making a muckle of rupee
The most important single fact about the rupee this year is that its strength is entirely unrelated to the direction of policy in India. Let me explain.
Until last year, every time there had been some kind of global event that had dented the rupee’s position, it was almost always counter-cyclical: when the dollar surged, it fell; when the dollar fell, it rose.
More recently, we’ve seen the dollar’s position have a strong but volatile impact on the currency, usually stemming from the Fed’s policy stance.
During the last several months, however, that situation has reversed. The rupee is not falling because the dollar is weak, and the dollar is not strong because the rupee is weak.
It is the other way around: both the dollar and the rupee are strong. That will last. The Indian currency is a strong currency for two reasons: a large current account surplus and a small trade deficit.
So where does all this leave the government? It means that we have a huge current account surplus, a weak currency and a trade deficit that is so large that it is undermining the rupee’s position.
This isn’t good. The new government will have to deal with a country that is in a trade deficit that is not just large, but increasing in size, and the ru be359ba680
